Krutidev is a legacy 8-bit font that reassigns almost every ASCII key (comma, period, question mark, semicolon, quotes, parentheses, etc.) to a Devanagari letter or matra — this is how the font itself works, not a limitation of this tool. So plain Hindi text converts reliably, but Western-style punctuation mixed into your sentence (like "," or "?") may render as the wrong Devanagari character in Krutidev font. Where possible, use Hindi punctuation (। for a full stop) instead, and double-check any English-style punctuation in the output.
Type or paste Unicode Hindi text on the left. The right panel shows the Krutidev-encoded version — it will look like scrambled English letters here, which is expected, since it only displays correctly once viewed with the Krutidev font installed (e.g. in MS Word, PageMaker, or older DTP software).
